The following list consists of unusual snacks, but they are pretty good if you give them a chance. None of these recipes will require a whole lot of cooking and for the most part will be very simple to make, the main reason for this is because no one wants to do a lot of cooking just for a quick snack.
- Carrots and Peanut Butter:
Not really a recipe, but really good for something quick to eat. The best part about this recipe is the simplicity, all you have to do is skin a couple of carrots and dip them in peanut butter. It’s great because it’s really filling and one of the healthier options on this list.
- The Breakfast Poutine:
This is a great breakfast, or mid-morning snack, brunch, etc. But whenever you choose to eat it this recipe is great. Cook frozen french fries in the oven and pour maple syrup over them. If you want any protein you can add some bacon or breakfast sausage to the mix, completely optional, but highly recommended. Again very simple, not many steps, and great for any snacking needs.
- The Leftover Burrito:
This recipe is as flexible as you want it to be, you could use any kind of leftovers you want, but this is the best way. First you want to get some tortillas or soft taco shells, it doesn’t matter too much, just use whatever is available. once you have that just grab any of your favorite leftovers out of your fridge. One of the best is leftover meat sauce for spaghetti, but it is also great with turkey or chicken. Then add some cheese, lettuce, tomato or whatever you want on it, cook in the microwave and enjoy
- Leftover Pizza Sandwich:
For this recipe you will need leftover pizza and something to put on it. Everyone knows that the toppings are the best part of the pizza, but each slice barely has any toppings on it, the solution is to turn it into a sandwich. For example, if your favorite pizza topping is pineapple, you can take a big slice of pineapple and use the two pizza slices like bread and eat it like a sandwich.
- Cheesy Pretzels:
This one is really quick and easy to make, perfect for when you’re in a rush or just really hungry getting home in the afternoon.You will need a medium to small piece of cheese and some stick shaped pretzels. If you have that all you need to do is slice the cheese into small cubes, and then use the pretzels like toothpicks to eat the cheese cubes.
