Movies To Look Forward To This Holiday Season

December, the month full of snow, candy canes and remembering to buy gifts for your loved ones. Christmas is just around the corner so why not spend some time with your family and friends at the movie theatres with these new releases.

There are some family films to watch this season including the 1982 remake Annie. This 2014 release stars 11-year-old newcomer Quvenzhané Wallis as Annie. The film also features Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx and Rose Byrne as well as cameos by Rihanna, Michael J. Fox, Mila Kunis and many more. This picture has many well-known celebrity hands behind it including Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and Shawn “Jay-Z”Carter who are all producers for the film. The flick is set to release on December 19, 2014. Go check out this orphan hope for tomorrow in this heart-warming musical.

Another great family pick would be the new upcoming film based off the Nickelodeon series, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water. The film brings back all of our childhood memories with SpongeBob (Tom Kenny), Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke) and Squidward (Rodger Bumpass) on an adventure, once again. This time around, pirate Burger Beard discovers a magical book that makes any one of his evil plans come true. Through this book, he steals the krabby patty secret formula! SpongeBob and the gang come together in this search for the krabby patty secret formula, on land. Look for this family fun flick in theatres February 2015.

            Finally, if you’re in the mood for a little action comedy with your friends, you may want to check out The Interview. The film features Seth Rogen, James Franco and Lizzy Caplan in the lead roles. Rogen and Franco star as the creators of a hit tabloid TV-show “Skylar Tonight”. When they realize that North Korean Kim Jong Un is a fan of the show they hope to set up an interview with him. What could possibly go wrong on a quest to meet a dictator? Everything. Look for this comedy in theatres Christmas Day 2014.
