As a child, I’ve always watched the classic Christmas movies where children go down centre street, look inside all the shops and buy lots of cool presents that they leave on their shelves back home. Want to the experience the fun that the people movies have? Well then, this is the story that you’ve been waiting to unfold. From horse-drawn wagon rides, to buying various lovely gifts for all your friends; this is the place for you.

 

Christmas with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra

Why? Cause Hallelujah! That’s why! To be serious Calgary is proud to have one of the best orchestras and reputations in all of Canada. To being able to host some of the finest soloists that Canada can provide. The classic tale that brings messages of peace and hope that inspires audiences for centuries.

Why? Be the first to see some of the rising artists in a night filled with glorious voices accompanied by a live music ensemble. Conducted by Christopher Mokrzewski and directed by Rob Harriot, start this Christmas Season with the gift of music.

 

NYE Comedy Extravaganza!

Where? Marda Loop Community Centre

When? December 31, 2014 7:00

Why? Who doesn’t love a good laugh or two? You choose when you want to come in, either the pre-show or the entire thing. With 5 talented stand up artists like Ron Vaudry and Stu Hughes, It’s the best way to finish off the old year!

 

Aurora Fest!

Where? SAIT Polytechnic Centre

When? November 29, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

How Much? Normal is $25, Gala Access is 65$
